Hans Rosling does it again

by javier on 1/12/2010

We are big fans of Hans Rosling work. I first mentioned him five years ago (Spanish) when he was leading Gapminder, mixing statistics, data visualization, interaction design and storytelling. Now he’s a public figure doing amazing things just as this one:

    Really?

I’m a big fan of Roslin’s work too, but this is the same thing that we saw years ago but now in “space”

The Corrs have 11 LPs and only 10 songs…

Why can`t do the same Mr. Rosling? :)

I don´t get it. What´s the amazing thing here? Gapminder? The speech? The obvious data he shows? The overprinting that is easily done with most edition softwares and a bit of training?

    I don´t get it :/

@keko yes, it’s the same but this time more dramatized. Also, being it cinematic and not powerpointish allows for a more selective view of the info (frame this, focus that)

@nachogil true that but… the coors songs don’t help people understand reality and data in a better way

@kike it’s the combination of it all
