The iPad is not a big iPhone. The iPhone is a pocket iPad.

    The iPhone is something else the iPad will NEVER be. It’s an “all in one”. Not just and iPad. Not just an iPod. Not just a phone.

    And bytheway… iPad is heavy as hell. I dare you to be more than 15 minutes sending emails while you hold it with the other hand without dislocating your wrist.

    @Nicolás:

    I agree with you with that saying “iPod Touch is a pocket iPad” could be more accurate. Nevertheless with my quote I just wanted to reply the whole bunch of people that were doing the opposite unfair comparison. Wrong in my humble opinion.

    Anyways, I haven’t had the opportunity to try iPad yet. But, I’m quite sure that the important thing is not the device itself, the important thing is the concept of use of it and the possibilities that it brings.

    The iPad can be heavy, but … just compare the first iPod with the actual iPod Nano :-) I mean, it’s just the beginning!

    Maybe doesn’t seem so revolutionary as the iPhone when it was launched but, like it or not, the truth is that we hadn’t ever seen a device like the iPad in our hands. Ok, we’ve seen concepts and concepts of incredible devices in laboratories. But, just that! Purely experimental devices! Now, after just a few days of iPad, there are hundreds of thousands of real persons out there with one in their houses. And that makes the difference!

    Other companies try to sell us ideas that hardly ever become real. Apple instead launches products for people. And some of them are so powerful that change things forever. This could be the case.

    The iPad will change the technology industry again. To appreciate the sheer beauty and complextion of such devices, you must have it in your hands.
